M4L Midi Key Map Color Palette

The Ableton Max4Live Midi Key Map Color Palette lets you map colors to your MIDI controller or keyboard, enabling greater customization and control over your setup. One of the most frustrating limitations in Ableton, for me, was the inability to map colors — despite being able to map almost everything else. If you're someone who loves to stay organized and is tired of constantly right-clicking to adjust track colors, this tool is for you.

V1.1 Limitations (Multiple Clip Selection):

Currently, when holding Shift to select multiple clips, Ableton's limitations prevent us from applying color changes to multiple selected clips simultaneously via Max For Live. However, this issue does not affect the ability to map colors for multiple track selections. Hopefully, future updates from Ableton will allow for multi-clip color mapping functionality.
